As I sit here in my office on Saturday morning at 4:45 am waiting for my 5:30am client, I realize that we are creatures of habit. Why am I here so early when I don’t have to be? The reason is that I ALWAYS go to bed early and get up early. That is a habit of mine just like humming and (dare I say ) singing to the music at the studio all day. Well, since I do have time on my hands I started thinking that we all have habits, some good, some not so good. Some habits need to be addressed i.e. broken! Here is my list:
MOST HARMFUL PERSONAL HABITS:
Smoking (UGH!)
Spending yourself into debt
Being more than 15lbs overweight
Excessive drinking (more than two drinks a day)
Taking drugs (over or under counter)
MOST HARMFUL EATING HABITS
Drinking a lot of soda (to me 1 is too much)
Eating at fast food restaurants (4-5 meals a week is too much)
Eating sweets (SUGAR 2xUGH)
Skipping breakfast
Not eating enough protein
MOST HARMFUL LIFESTYLE CHOICES
Being angry, stressed more than being happy
Loss of control over career, family
Loss of self esteem
Ignoring health problems and symptoms
Not exercising!!!!!!!!!!!
Well these are my harmful habits. I’m sure there are more like getting enough sleep, taking supplements. Let me know if you have habits that you like or like to eliminate…R
